This Christmas market looks so nice! I've been to some Christmas markets in The Netherlands and Germany, but never in the U.K.

Is there someone that has been to a market in Germany as well as the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market? What are the actual differences? Maybe I should go and find out myself :)

Check out Greenwich Market for the following:

Halloween 29 OCT 11-5pm
http://staging.shopgreenwich.co.uk/

Greenwich Children’s Lantern Procession 24 NOV 4-7pm

The Christmas festivities at Greenwich Market begin with the local children’s lantern procession and the switching on of the new Christmas sparkly lights on 24 November. The parade ends in the Market where children will be greeted by Father Christmas and characters from this year’s pantomime, Cinderella, and they can join in singing Christmas Carols and enjoy tasty mince pies and warm beverages.
The London’s famous Greenwich Market will be filled with 150 Christmas-themed stalls offering unique hand crafted and designed gift ideas and stocking-fillers, handmade jewellery, fashion and beauty treats as well as, on Wednesdays, a food market offering local, fresh and organic produce of a festive nature.
Santa will take up residence in his Greenwich Grotto on the weekends of the 27 and 28 November, 4 and 5, 11 and 12, 18 and 19 December.

I've been to the German Christmas markets and have absolutely enjoyed myself! This one in Birmingham looks amazing! Hoping to go to the one in Glasgow this year. Best bit about Christmas Market - they run for weeks. Gives you the opportunity to visit more than one city!

Will the market be running this year, and does it run in other areas of the country, as it sounds like something I would like to attend.

Are there any Christmas Markets in Cambridge? I always try to go to a city with a Christmas Market every December. I went to a little one in Norwich, which was lovely and I also love the one on the South Bank in London but I'd like to go somewhere different this year. I've never actually been to Cambridge at all, don't know much about it at all but I'd love to go at Christmas.

I can't wait for Christmas this year; I hope it will be the same as last year. Does anyone know if the market will be open in November again or any earlier?
