Londoners who have been to the Slow Food Christmas Market in Lambeth say that it has the same feel as a summer farmer’s market, reminding everyone that the homemade treats here are to be savored and enjoyed. While you may not be able to imagine what Christmas must’ve been like behind the imposing walls of the Tower of London, you can enjoy the Tower Bridge European Christmas Market that will be on the Tower’s Potter’s Field this winter from November 29 through December 22. The market will have traders and sellers from all over Europe displaying their artwork, handmade crafts, homemade food, drinks, and other Christmas items, such as gifts and decorations. It will be set up with wooden Christmas Market huts and Santa will even have a grotto here to visit with the children.
