Holiday Wassail

A cup of wassail makes the season complete. Here is a <strong>traditional English cup of wassail recipe</strong> that you can try for your <strong>Christmas dinner</strong> this year.<!–more–>

There is nothing more enjoyable than a good Christmas drink during the christmas season and this Holiday Wassail recipe is a traditional dish found on the tables of many British residents in the United Kingdom. Enjoy!

<strong>Holiday Wassail</strong>
<ul>
<li>6 cups apple cider</li>
<li>2 1/2 cups apricot nectar</li>
<li>2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice</li>
<li>1 cup orange juice</li>
<li>1 teaspoon whole cloves</li>
<li>4 whole allspice</li>
<li>3 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon</li>
</ul>
Combine all of the ingredients in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, simmer 15 minutes, and then strain and discard the spices. Serve hot. This recipe makes 3 quarts.
