Choosing a Gift for that Hard-to-buy for Person
Gift giving should be fun and not so stressful. There are always one or two individuals that are almost impossible to buy for. Here are a few tips to follow.
What does a gift giver do? Rather than panic, think of these easy -to-give gifts that are perfect for the most difficult to buy for recipients.
- Go to the Body Shop or even to a nice department store and get some nice body lotion or soap, especially in a set.
- Buy a set that includes a nice fine wine and cheese for a night of relaxation for the recipient.
- Think of a unique Christmas ornament and have it personalized for the recipient.
- Buy a Christmas movie DVD or CD with lovely music by Manheim Steamroller or other Christmas musical singer or group.
- Make or buy a set of fragrant Christmas candles. You can make them buy buying the ingredients from the craft store or get them at a candle store with pleasant Christmas scents.
- Go to the gourmet cooking store to buy a set of flavoured vinegars or olive oil.
- Buy a set of lip balms and throw in a set of woolen mittens to bring in the winter season with the right ingredients. A matching hat would be nice as well.
- Buy some hot chocolate and include a mug for them to serve it in. A bag of mini-marshmallows would add to the ambiance of the gift.
- Buy a gift certificate to the local kitchen store for the recipient to buy something they wouldn’t otherwise have bought for themselves.
- Make a charitable donation to whatever charity your recipient is most interested in. Make a nice card to honor the donation.
There are many more gifts you can think of to honor a gift recipient that is hard to buy for. It is truly the sentiment that counts and if they think you’ve really thought about them, that is all that really matters.
