Regent Street Christmas Lights
Tonight, Regent’s Street will light up for Christmas under the title Unity.
The famous shopping street will tonight create the perfect atmosphere for the season while connecting the shops under the flag of Unity and welcoming the new Nokia flagship store.
These Christmas illuminations event will for the first time involve the public directly. Those present will affect the way the lights switch on.
Starting from the North and South of Regent’s Street, the crowd will walk together while turning the lights on.
14 light will go up in the sky while you walk along with festive entertainers.
The light show doesn’t stop there as motion cameras will detect crowd density, wind and sunlight to produce festive changes in the lights.
The Unity show will begin at 6pm on the 20th of November starting from either ends of the street.
